Real Life...the thing that gets in the way of fun![]()
I am swapping my pop top for this high top roof!
Next weekend will take my poptop down to nevada, and swap with the high top.
I will also be picking up my new 1904cc engine then also.
And, the seats are almost done too.
I will be putting one together tonight, and will post some pics.

Got the jump seat cover from the neighbor.
I stapled it all down.
Not too bad for 2 non-pro's.

Well, I took the pop top off this weekend (going to be getting the high top this weekend).
Found out why all the air was leaking in, and why it wasnt staying shut.
There were SO many screws missing, and some front hold down thingy under the top, and the big issue was that one corner of the top rear was completely un-attached (there are wood pieces attched to the top, and the one corner was NOT attached to the top).
So, I applied some epoxy, and the whole thing is structurally sound again.
I didnt want the new owner of it to have any reason to deny a trade, plus I cant give something broken to someone that is buying/trading me for something unbroken.
Here it is all fixed up (some c-clamps, tie-down straps, and epoxy to fix it):

Is that how close the engine is to the gas tank? Woah!
Yeah, seperated by that metal plate (right behind the engine in the bottom pic).
