I put bricks under the tires on my truck in the driveway tonight as the last time we had these weather conditions it slid out across the road and a passerby rang the doorbell asking me if I left it that way intentionally!

There were 30 city buses stuck and needing tows today, I work for transit. The highways were closed as trucks and the tow trucks sent to get them were all in the ditch. The boys feet never left the ground going to or from school and I nearly went into the neighbors front yard across the street when I left for work. Thick ice on the roads driveways and sidewalks with a film of water on top from a light rain equals lots of police and ambulance calls. Body shops must have chipped in and paid off the gods for this one.

That s funny JL... slide out across the street. I have never seen that happen.

Flex - watch the skies. I heard some severe tornadoes went through OK. Looked pretty beat up.

Here it has warmed up and melted a fair bit of the snow into blocks of ice. Of course it will freeze over and make the roads slick again. Freakin weather

Gorgeous frosty morning (-12C). It was a bit foggy overnight but this caused a lot of it to frost the trees in a nice layer of crystals. Beautiful.

Now light snow and still chilly

Have unusual weather for February here. The week has been on the plus side (>10C) for a week and today is nearly 20C. February is usually the coldest month of the year with highs below freezing
