Anyways, it is a pic of my 3.0 chip doing 250 fsb

That is on my p4c800e!

I have two of them. THe first one booted into windows at 240 fsb and default. So far, this one is better!

Are you using 5:4 or 1:1? I'm at the limit of my memory using 1:1 with my 3.0c. I can't explain it but it seems that my 3.0 oc'ed to 3.3 has a faster feel than my 2.6c oc'ed to 3.3. Do you experience the same thing?

Well, I am running with OCZ 4000 so i am still at 1:1. This rig feels VERY fast atm. Much faster than my 2.4 MO at 3.4.

This is were some BH-5 chips come in real good. The P4C800E-D loves BH-5 and memory throughput is much better will less oc.

e.g.
P4C800E-D, 3.0c, 220fsb, 2-3-2-5, Corsair XMS3500C2v1.1, unbuffered Sandra - around 2900
DFI, 2.6, 255fsb, 2.5-4-3-6, OCZ 4000EL Gold, unbuffered Sandra - around 2900.

You would expect higher with a 255fsb but the 220fsb is just as good. Strange but I like it.

Hehe... funny thing is, my OCZ 3500 Platinum was suppose to be here today... never arrived... Oh well maybe Monday!

definitely know 3.2C 800FSB cpus are slight faster so maybe 3.0C have the same effect when oc'd to similar 2.4C oc'd speeds ?

My wife just called me about receiving a package. I thought it was to early for the SCSI drive I ordered. Hmmm, I wonder if that is your package coming to me? :evil: Just j/k'ing-no package came.

I wonder if the FedEx guy is suffering from withdrawals of not stopping by my house this week?

BTW: I was just about ready to order that LSI SCSI RAID controller for $400 and then looked at my credit card balance. I came to my senses. For $500 I would have had a 36Gig for the single drive and the controller for the two 73Giggers for the RAID0 but maybe next year.

Just a 3.0c.

What I would like to have would be two Opteron 250s. Since they are not even released yet, I'm safe. Imagine two gigs of RAM allocated so each 250 proc is getting 1 Gig a piece at 128-bit dual channel speeds using 2-3-2 timings with 2.2Ghz procs and my 2 73GB Cheetahs running at RAID0 on a PCI-X card and slot. :deviltail :deviltail

pastorjay, what is tracking showing for when you get the OCZ 3500 sticks? Maybe the sticks could not be delivered and you can pick them up today. I would love to what you get with BH-5 chips with the 3.0c.

Well, I do not have the tracking #. The guy who sent them out had left for T-day before I could get it. I am gonna call fed-ex though and see what I can do. Maybe I can pick them up tomorrow.
