i second the motion by paragon. steve, we'd like to see your avatars friends

Well i think i'm some what of a success story, i still drool over faster parts most often its a better g card or ram. But i've convienced myself i'm content with what i got after i get my WC setup running on my cpu and graphics. Once thats setup i'm pretty sure i'd be able to OC far enough to put of any itch of upgrading for 6 months.

So to all you upgrade aholics it is possible to win out over your addiction! Fight on

Breaking down seems to be the latest catch phrase in this thread.

I broke down and ordered an xp120, xp90 with a panaflo 92mm fan, rounded sata cables (red UV to match the others) and a new board - either as a back-up or for another rig - haven't yet decided (if the later then I need everything else for a new system).

    Speaking of breaking down...

Remember, there was that Seinfeld episode where Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer had a contest of who could remain "master of their domain" the longest? One by one, they all broke down...

I have found a remedy to the disease called upgrading.

It's spending $12,200 on a truck while you're a college student, and having to pay it back. Then sell all of your computer parts and buy something faster than what you used to have, and make it something harder to upgrade, such as a Shuttle.

Although, I'm still working on buying a LCD. I had the money for it, but I was laid off from work for a while (It usually gets slow where I work during the holiday season), and had to put the money towards a truck payment.

I walked into office depot to visit a friend and realized he got employee discount, walked out with an Audigy 2ZS, Logitech Z5500 speakers and a BenQ 19" LCD when I originally meant to go say hi and pick up paper for my printer. Oh, and I never bought the paper either man I'm gonna regret my bank statement this month

You guys are in need of some BIG time help. Then again I am one to talk. I was not planning to do anything except upgrade my 3.0c to a 3.4c but then someone was selling an IC7-Max3 board. Then someone was selling some awesome ram.

Before I knew it deals were made on both and it looks likes I am slowly on my way to building another system.
