Default A different type of fan controller - check this out !

As some of you might know I have been in the market for a fan controller to manage a minimum of 4 fans which do not have RPM monitoring. So the traditional Sunbeam and the likes have been suggested and frankly Sunbeam was appealing to me, minus the lights!

However although controlling the fans (manually), I would still have to check temps from the corner of my eye, that did not frankly give me a warm feeling and certainly not meet my total objectives.

Guess what, I think I have found the solution to meet all my needs, and by shear luck also found a review of it:

Extract: "The T-Balancer (T-Ban) is a stand alone, temperature controlled, fan control system which can be configured through its onboard USB connection. The idea is simple, different temperature sensors placed in your system send data to the T-Ban, depending its configuration it will then speed up or slow down up to 4 fans which can be connected. Sure we’ve seen products do these things before, but none of them are stand alone, they need user interaction to work correctly and how you want it. Once the T-Ban is configured however you won’t need to touch it again, it will regulate the temperature of your system’s critical components."

Other reviews, and reading some of their forums confirms that this unit will support 15 watts per channel, hence easily support multiple fan per channel ~ so 4 fans is very conservative. Addtionnaly this unit does not dissipate heat, which a Sunbeam for example would do when u tune down to 7 or 5 volts.

I think i might have some European Ordering to do soon, however before I do anyone care to comment, provide input or maybe even had experienced with this?

Well this get's better they happened to have tested this unit with the YS fans among others that i am about to receive in 3 days...hehehe,

Here is a link see if your fans are there if they are not, does not mean it would not work:

PS: I have just noticed that Paragon had in September provided a link to a review of this product..talk about searching in the wrong places. Lol!

Here is another rreview done a few days ago,

I also have some more details directly from the company whom I have contacted in Austria. I will share the info when I have a little more time. My first attempt at it got chucked away by the bbs script or what ever..arrggg...was a long page full of details.

    Hopefully this posts makes it:
