A Guide to submitting at HWBOT

I was asked by Nutcase about putting up some type of guide to submitting at HWBOT..I learned how from a few here but only after I did it wrong so I hope this helps...

First If you are not Registered go here and on the left side register http://hwbot.org/index.jsp

When you Register notice choose a team..Use the down arrow and find Bleedinedge. Then create your login.


You will see rules on the left side..Tick this..


Lets use 3D06 for this demo...Tick 3DMark06



Notice rules at the top of 3D06..This explains the rules but even better shows you what you will need to have in your screenshot you do. You almost always need CPU-Z and GPU-Z for all 3D benchmarks and can load these for free..Just google them



Tick on the small screenshot and it will show you what is needed in Red...



If you own the 3D06 you are using you can tick submit to ORB or futuremark at the end of your run..After you sign up at ORB it will keep track of your runs. It is not required to attach the ORB link with your submission unless you are in the top 20...I do this but still make my screenshot so I can go back and see what i have did before as far as speed, Video card settings, etc...I was taught this way at BE and it has always come in handy.
In this look at the orb you will see where I have turned the link blue by ticking on it under my 3D06 run..You can then right click on it and tick copy..There is a place for this in the submission form at the BOT if you choose to use it. I will show this later on the submission form.



after your run you want to submit, sign in to HWBOT.
You will see the 3rd option down on the left is submit score.


This page will come up and you can choose which test you want to submit..in our demo this would be 3DMark06



Here is the submit form..
score is at the top then you will notice as you type in processor it will drop down a box for each item like processor,ram and videocard for you to pick from...or you can just type it all in..
further down you will see verification (mandatory box). Tick browse and go to your pictures...Your screenshot you made should be in your pictures.
Also if you choose to use a futuremark ORB link you can paste it in the compare url box...
