    Default Mohaa

I have installed MOHAA on my vista os and when I start the game I get a message that "Degugger is detected, stop debugger and try again". What debugger is it talking about and how do I stop it?

    Thanks,

    Rick

The safedisc protection for that game detects a myriad of programs as debuggers. It may be worth it just to try a no-CD patch rather than to wade through the many things that could be causing it. Try here if you want to give it a go: LINK

What do you mean by had to rename to .exe? The file I downloaded is a .ace file which is a form of zip file and it has to be extracted. You should then get a folder with a .nfo file which you can open with notepad or by installing DAMN NFO Viewer, LINK . You should also see a file which is named MOHAA.exe in the folder the file was extracted to. You should make a backup of the original file first then replace the one in the games folder with the one you downloaded.

Also seeing as how it is an older game have you checked this site for patches/fixes already before trying the no-cd file? LINK
