    Default Phenom940 Help

Ok i have a few questions actually. Just made a pc for my wife. Asus M4a77D Mobo. Amd phenom II 940 Cpu. My temps running are around 32-36 deg. When i open up cpu id it says its running a core speed of 800mhz? I know thats not right, as it should be higher than that right? After i get this issue worked out i would like to OC this setup a lil bit. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks

    Did you also disable C1E?
Try putting load on the CPU while you have CPU-Z open. (run OCCT or something)
Is CPU-Z also showing your vcore at less than 1.0 v?

Did you run OCCT & see if it sped up?
If so, it's probably Windows power management.
If your on the default balanced power plan.
In control panel , go to power options.
Change plan settings > change advanced power settings.
Then look for "Processor Power Management" & set minimum processor state to 100%

Failing that, can you post a screen shot of CPU-Z with OCCT running.
