Forum Upgrade: Missing features you miss

Hi Everyone,

Following the upgrade we need your help in identifying any possible features that are missing from the upgrade.

For example, the quick reply feature is missing.

Please limit your replies to the features that are missing and do not make suggestions in this thread. Another thread will be created for suggestions.

We want to focus on missing features first then look at suggestions unless they can be easily done at the same time

Please note that this is a major upgrade and changes to the forums. So it will take some time for us to sort through the new stuff

DO NOT USE THE RIG SPECS YET.

I am only partially finished with that!

Rig specs are partially working. you can now edit your rig specs.

Now got to get the section working that will let other users see them

Country Flags have been added back.

BUT if this feature causes slowdown of the website, I will be removing it. I cannot tell on my computer here as it does weird things sometimes

NOTE: some new countries have been added, so you might want to check.

Ok, MOTE badge is back!

and Admins and Mods have a Badge now.

and the Banned people will have a Badge saying Banned instead of the old saying.

the way the news will be handled will be changing...

on the front page is a section Called "news on the web"

This will be News feeds from around the web. Most of these are presently from sites that are affiliated with BE. at present, I have 2 feeds from Hwbot and 1 feed from Techpowerup!

I need more such as a gaming feed, etc.

Also, Under News on the edge in the forums is a forum called "Download links" This is from a Feed from Techspot which includes links to program updates, new releases, driver updates, etc.

the present forums will now be used for News posted by the users.

and sorry Guys, I have been sick and not been on the site much.

and for Clarification, BE news is for you guys to post any pertinent news you find.

I just won't be feeding it the news feeds as I did before.
