    Nothing so exotic....it's actually a tiny flower that was on a bush in my garden last summer....here's a photo of the bush....you can ALMOST see the flowers on it....

    it's amazing to me that something that looks rather shabby normally can look so beautiful close up....

    i just got back from SE Asia (Philippines). took a trip to a beach resort island and was sitting near a beach under a tree...looked up and took a snap with my P&S digicam. thought it came out all right as an impromptu shot...
