I design and build my own mods.

I was running a 72W TEC so I decided I needed Dual PSU. With a simple relay, I now have two 5V and 12V rails :>

AH I see I wasn't able to see the pic before hand. I was thinking you prototyped your own board. But it is a "sexy" idear.

Blueball, was your wall mounted rig featured in CPU magazine? I think I've seen it before...

    Anyway, it looks awesome man.

I won't clutter the Case Mod thread anymore ... here's the last pic for now.

These are my custom HDD coolers. They were probably the easiest.

Like he said, holy moly....nice stuff u got there.

How do you work with this metal, u got machine shop in garage? Hard drive cooler is that solid aluminum block that was drilled to make water space or sheets welded together with..darn I suppose argon ??

I assume a hell of a lot of work to do all this..nicely done. Copper cpu water block is simply freaken scary...lol...I love it, nice design.

Remove everything so that you are left with the one piece of extruded aluminum.

Note the fans blow air through slots (long holes next to each other) and air comes out the other end. Here's the easy part... snap off EVERY OTHER piece of the dividing aluminum between slots. Cap the ends (except for the outer slots).

Select your water fittings so they fit in the outer slots. I used JB Weld to fasten the piece of aluminum on the ends.

    Done.

The water will now zig-zag through the aluminum block.

actually that is silicone that was painted, i have brackets that hold it in place, but they were too flimsy and i was too lazy to make new ones, so i filled it in good with silicon, then when i painted my case it got overspray on it.

or do you mean the black spot? where were USB and a Firewire port on that board as well, and i burnt the pcb trying to desolder them (they did a really really good job from the factory)
