    Talking Opteron 146 - CAB2E 0540 FPMW results

    Yes a new Opteron 146 CAB2E 0540FPMW

    Cooled with Corsair Hydrocool 200 Water

    System

    Opteron 146 CAB2E 0540FPMW Corsair Hydrocool 200 Water cooled

    1x BFG 7800GTX 77.72WHQL drivers
    1x 160GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 SATA NCQ
    Liteon 48x24x48x CD Burner
    Floppy drive
    510W PC Powercooling SLI psu

    WinXP Pro SP2 - very old install left over from DFI NF4 SLI-D i had (haven't bothered to do a fresh reinstall yet)
    NF4 6.53WHQL chipset drivers

    Memtest86+ 1.55 from 618-3 bios

    vcore - results

    AUTO (1.4v) = 3000mhz - 4 full standard loops PASSED

    1.425v = 3050mhz - 2 full standard loops PASSED

    1.475v = 3100mhz - 8 full standard loops PASSED

    1.5v = 3150mhz - 1 error on 1st pass of Test #4

    So guess it's still one of the best cpus i've tested.

    2x 512MB Gskill PC4400LE TCCD 431
    @300mhz 2.5-4-3-7 8-18-2223

    BH-5 vs TCCD

    Well finally cracked 23m with winbond BH-5 ram and still have room to move As you can see from the times BH-5 was +20mhz faster equivalent at same clocks as TCCD i.e. 3102mhz BH-5 = 3120mhz TCCD

    2x 512MB Corsair XMS3500C2v1.1 BH-5 on 166mhz divider

    Super Pi 32M
    @3000mhz at 1.44v = 24m 00.719s
    @3102mhz at 1.536v = 23m 14.906s
    @3120mhz at 1.536v = 23m 05.171s
    @3141mhz at 1.568v = 22m 59.453s
    @3150mhz at 1.616v = 22m 56.875s

    vs

    2x 512MB Gskill PC4400LE TCCD on 180mhz divider

    Super Pi 32M

    @3102mhz at 1.536v = 23m 23.735s
    @3120mhz at 1.568v = 23m 14.547s
    @3130mhz at 1.568v = 23m 10.297s
    @3133mhz at 1.568v = 23m 08.500s
    @3141mhz at 1.584v = 23m 05.891s
    @3150mhz at 1.616v = 23m 03.531s

    Hey Guys,
    I am new to this forum, and I just received an Opteron 146 CAB2E 0540FPMW as well. I was wondering what clocks you guys are getting on air cooling? I'm using a Zalman 7700Cu so it should be pretty good. Is anyone seeing these clock as well as the CABYE 0540's?
