How do you set up HT with win2k and winXP?
could you use 2 windows graphic version at the same time?

How do you decide how much credit a work unit is worth?
How do you determine how many points a work unit is worth? Before putting out any new work unit, we benchmark it on a dedicated 500MHz Celeron machine (this machine does not have SSE/3DNow). We plug the results of this into the following formula:

points = 3.5 * multiplier * (daysPerWU)

where daysPerWU is -- no surprise -- the number of days it took to complete the unit.

SCK, there was a good thread about setting up HT procs but I just can't seem to find it. It was over at ABX. Maybe RotorHead or pointreyes can hook ya up...

thx...but i got it all figured out...
you can only use console if you are using more than one instances on one computer with multiprocessor support...
u can still use one with windows graphics...or screen saver...but the 2nd one has to be in console interface...then you will have to put the console one in a seperate directory

Have you guys looked at those teams who have the same output as we do? Look at their active users, we have the fewest users by far....that just rocks. Can you imagine what we'd do if we had more members?

Do you have to stay connected to fold or can you download work to do and work off-line (similar to Prime95) ?

If I have to stay connected I am not sure how much I can help .
