I guess as we move down this list, suitability for the P4 goes up and up: the OCZ 4000 sticks clearly excel at hitting super high speeds, which is all but useless on an Athlon platform unless you plan on cooling the northbridge with liquid nitrogen. The 4000 modules really come into their own on an overclockable p4 system. You can run your CPU pretty-dang-fast while keeping the RAM:FSB ratio at 2:1, or go for an overclocking record if you drop the ratio to 1.6:1... all while running at timings better than it's spec'd at. I'd rate the modules even higher if they weren't so expensive (a bit over $200 for 2x256), but they ARE top-of-the-line goodz, so that's to be expected. At the end of the day, they earned a healthy G3D award.
Nice to see my sticks get a good rating.

    You sleep?

Yep, my 2 x 256 OCZ PC4000s to DDR550 at 2.85v with 2.5-4-4-7 timings. They can do DDR453 at 2.85v with 2.5-3-3-7 timings no problems too.

My board has a limit of 2.7vdimm (and no, I'm not going to vdimm mod it ).

              I getting 2.5-3-4-6 timings at DDR500 speeds.

              Using 2 x 256 OCZ PC4000 EL Gold.
