How significant has this issue been in HL2's development, considering the versatility of the Source engine?


Gabe Newell: The increased demands on art direction and production are certainly one of the challenges. Scalability of content is another. How can you make it look great and take advantage of all of the latest bells and whistles on the high-end, while still looking good enough and run fast enough on a TNT-2."
