I just finished the mods on my X850XT. I did all three and put in jumpers to disable them when I'm not benching. I still have to put the ram sinks on and the Maze4, then it's time to play :D I do think I'll solder some wires to a molex so it will be easier to check voltages with the ram sinks and water cooling on the card.

I'm working on it guys.... just haven't had a lot of time to mess with it yet. So far I'm kinda dissapointed in this card :( It looks like the max core is going to be 630 @ 1.65v; anything higher starts to artifact and going to 1.7v didn't help much. I haven't even put the jumpers on the memory mods yet. Default for the card was 540/590 and on air it did 570/590; when I put on the ram sinks and water cooling it would do 580/610 with no vmods turned on. So basicly the vgp mod got me from 580 to 630. I just have to find time to see what the memory will do, then I can oc the system and run some benches for score. Does anyone know offhand what the max "safe" VDD and VDDQ voltages are?

Here are just some AM3 results to see what the extra clock speeds did for it. These are with the system at all default.

Def sys and card @ 540/590 AM3 75,712 GFX 11514
max clock on def volts 580/610 AM3 76,592 GFX 11727
Max core, def mem volts 630/610 AM3 77,833 GFX 12009

I really expected more improvement, we'll see what it does with memory maxed out soon

Just a note; my best AM3 run on this system oc'd with the card at 570/600 was 84972 and the GFX score was 12327, so oc'ing the system has a definite impact on the GFX score as well as the cpu score

Aint this **** fun... :D

AM3 is heavily cpu dependant. It is also possible that at stock your cpu is holding it bk. :)

Oh yeah I know it was, those results were not for high scores, they were just to check the oc on the card. I just got an 88k in AM3 with the cpu oc'd to 4.4ghz :D
