:help:
When I go to play a game like Far cry or battlefield 1942 or any game for that matter the game minimizes to the task bar. I have the latest drivers for my card and the latest drivers for my board.
even if you click on the minimized game that does not mean that it will work. Also Even when you get in the game & it works about 10 to 30 sec late it will automatically minimize it self.
Please Help

if you are using different refresh rates in games than whats on your desktop make sure your moniter is not freaking out over the changes :)

From what I can tell the monitor refresh rate is the same in games. :help: .
I Had to reformat because of reasons i do not want to get in to. And it still minimizes in games. I have tryed different drivers. ATI CATALYST 5.4 Windows XP , CATALYST 4.10 Windows XP & The Display Driver, Control No difference.
Does any one thank it could be the graphic card ?

It Won't let me edit my previous post. Sorry Guys.
I Found the problem. The Folding Program I was running was causing my game to crash. When Running that program and trying to play games it would crash to thwe desktop and raise my temps 10-12 degres celus. once i unstalled the program every thing runs like a dream. The temp are down from 40c @ igle to 29-30c @idle.

hehe, I found the same thing happens to Aquamark bench too. The folding program is designed to use all the unused clock cycles, because it keeps constantly checking CPU usage, I think that`s what crashes the games and Aqua. Rather then uninstall, I just shut the folding@home client down while I bench.
