unfortunately i read another review (link) (http://www.driverheaven.net/articles/aquamark3/index.htm) that is showing that the NV det 50 drivers are still screwed up. (quality mode renders in performance mode :wack: )

is this driver BS ever gonna end? :rolleyes:

Unfortunately, nVidia is up against the wall. This is another instance like HL2 where the lack of DX9 compliance is killing them. It is showing up in every DX9 game or bench. nVidia is putting out reduced quality drivers to try and bring benches up. People are getting wise to it (finally) and are not going to stand for it.

Too bad as Nvidia's latest drivers, the 45.23s had a greatly improved IQ. I still am unwilling to draw a conclusion either way until I see final, retail release game code (specifically talking about HL2) and current drivers and hardware when the game is released. Which apparently won't be in 2 weeks. Even if the release is a month away, that's not too long to wait to draw a conclusion.
These graphic cards and drivers are as bad as my wife's soap operas. As the Graphic Card Turns :rolleyes:
