Hynix HY5DU56822BT-J
It came on some Kingston ValueRAM 3200 that I got... had some dust on the boxes, so I assume it was somewhat older stock...
Couldn't find anything about it...
BH5? CH5?
Inquiring minds wanna know...

BH5/CH5 is Winbond. You have Hynix. Google search shows it as DDR333.

being ddr333 can easily be a good thing ~ dont read into that too much ;)

well... it's not really stable beyond 170mhz FSB... IF I want to keep somewhat decent timings. (currently 2.5-7-3-3, NBS667, street racer)
It's not really an issue with my unlocked CPU, but because this is my primary PC, I'd be too ****ed off if trying to that last little mhz caused me to corrupt data and i had to restore the system.. so I'm erring on the cautious side a bit.
That, and I hate re-setting everything in the BIOS when I turn up the FSB too fast for the RAM, and have to reset the CMOS. :wack:
I keep shaking my head that changing your CAS from 2, to 2.5, and then 3, made NO difference... maybe the accelerator modes (turbo, street racer, etc.) control the CAS latency regardless of what you set it to?
I would sure love to have another box to try all my theories on that I didn't need to be up and running all the time... :(

try NBs667 turbo or NBs800 street racer ;)

Well... get this.. been testing all day.
config 1:
3040mhz, 179/179 FSB, 1:1, NBs533, 2-6-3-3, auto
6480 3dmarks, stable
config2:
3115mhz, 222/178mhz FSB, 5:4, NBs667, 2-6-3-3, auto
6469 3dmarks, stable
attempted config 3:
any speed on the CPU (tried from 2000-3200mhz), as low as 212/170 FSB, 5:4, NBs667, as loose as 3-8-4-4, street racer
won't boot.
Maybe with better memory, I could run street racer, but it can't be ALL that bad if it runs 2-6-3-3...

Invest in getting an imaging backup software package. ;)

I agree, imaging is a pain. That's one of the reasons why I have more than one computer. I just do a image backup through my network. That way I can recover through my network, much faster than using a cd or dvd burner. :)
