My review of the Asus P4C800-E has just been posted at www.anandtech.com This is the board that did 302Mhz with my 2.4C and was the testbed board for the DDR500 roundup.

You might be interested in comparing my findings to Hawk's review here at BE. Enjoy!

Nice review.Just curious if running 2 sticks in dual channel mode if you noticed a difference using either black or blue slots?.There was some debate and findings that some found the black better and some the blue slots with the P4P800.I was wondering if the P4C800-E is the same way.I bought a P4C800-E but had to RMA it.I was getting CPU test failed on the speach reporter.

Very nice job on the review Wes. I miss the articles forum. I hate using that other thing. That looks like a very sweet mobo. I'd be taking a hard look at it if I were in the market for an 875 board.

Were the comparison benches done recently, or were they from older reviews that Evan did? The IC7 looks kind of low, like where it was back in the BIOS 11 or 12 days.

Evan redid all his benchmarks in the last couple of weeks, since we've made quite a few changes to our hardware and benchmark suite.

My Athlon64 Preview and review of the Asus PC-DL Dual Xeon should go up next week.

I haven't found any difference running black and blue pairs on the "E", but I have seen reports that others did on the earlier P4C800 Deluxe. The memory compatability has been dramatically improved on the "E" and the slot thing may have been fixed in that process.

I haven't noticed any differences with blue or black slots either and i'm using P4C800 non deluxe.
