Just installed my P4C800-E and it comes with 1009 bios

I'm intrested in this one to. I have it but I have'nt flashed yet. I'm waiting for some feed back from those who have.

I flashed it this morn, no noticable changes. . . Will keep it on and play some more. . . . :D

Keep us posted Hawk. I'm gonna reformat my array with the new IAA drivers and clean with the recent chipset drivers too. Orer installs are a little messy. I'd love 3.7 on this thing too. Have fun.:D

just updated to 1011-06 bios from 1010 as well so far no probs

what program did you use to flash with on the asus site it said not to use the one that comes with asus probe

and if so can you tell me how

thx just ALT+F2 at boot up with floppy containing renamed bios file on the disk like in the manual ;)

well my P4C800-E came with 1009 bios by default

updated to 1010 and managed to bench 2.8C @ 259/260fsb

but updated to 1011 beta 6 and lost 2-3fsb on my max overclock

P4C800-E users, which bios allowed you to overclock the most ? is it the same bios that gave you best performance clock for clock ?

Radelon is using the 1007 013 bios from the P4C800 on his P4C800E and finds it clocks a lot better.If you use the P4C800 bios you should keep ICH5R but you will lose some board functionality.

to flash you need all the switches with afudos.
