We will have PC3700 and PC4000 both being released soon, the testing on them went very well so it should be very soon. However, they will be rated CAS 3-4-4-7, as there aren't currently any chips out there that will do 2-2-2-6 at 4000 (that we have seen, at least). The 4 ns chips we have tested can certainly run at the high speeds but have been unable to run at lower CAS latencies. If you look around at other companies that have PC4000 modules you'll see that this is the case around the industry, the chips just aren't there for 2-2-2 PC4000. Hopefully we'll be able to release a regular PC4000 module and then release a PC4000 Level 2 a little down the road once the chips are out there. Keep an eye on the site for the PC4000 release!

They are taking way to long to get them to the market. Plus, i'm sure the Mushkin's are going to be $$$$$$....

The Mushkin DDR500 will arrive today, and I'll let you know what I find. Mushkin has told me they are aiming for a new LOW price on their DDR500 by using chips without a high duty. Hynix chips carry a huge duty in the US which drives up the cost of DDR500 (4000) memory that uses Hynix chips - Corsair, Geil, OCZ - and latest rumor is Kingston has now switched to Hynix also.

i got 4 x 512MB Hynix PC3200 D43 which do in pairs

270mhz 2.5-4-4-8 at 3.2v
260-265mhz 2.5-4-3-7 at 2.9v
260mh 2.5-4-3-7 at 2.8v
250-255mhz 2.5-4-3-7 at 2.6v!

Wow, that would be great for Mushkin to have 2-2-2 PC4000 sticks....

The last stick I bought from them was a level 2 PC2100...and it ran PC2700 @ 2-2-2 and 410mhz at 2.5-3-3-7,they have great stuff and dont rush to put junk out...

They will be using Samsung IC's just like kingston did.Remember OCZ have 3700 that runs ddr500 with 2.5-3-3-7 timings on many boards at 2.85V.I can tun 2-3-3-7 at ddr500 with mine...

I wonder if the mushkin will equal that?

Recieved an email from Mushkin yesterday:>

"Hello David,
The 512MB PC4000 will be up on the site this weekend....if you're still interested in purchasing. :) They won't be cheap.....but they overclock like nobody's business. There will be some online reviews of those coming out soon as well if you want to wait to see how they are performing.
Best Regards,
Lewis"

I had emailed them a while back about PC4000 and they got back to me very quickly...this was just an FYI from them..nice to see they keep emails and dont just read/reply/delete them.

Anyone here gonna be testing these?

They also mentioned they are in the process of certifying the DFI 875 board for these sticks...
