Yup it arrived http://www.fileshosts.com/pentium4/D1/asus/p4c800-e/
So all you P4C800-E owners, what tips and advice you have for me ? Best way to update the bios ?
Strange that the quality of cpu retention bracket is screwed into a backplate but they have a plastic cpu lever and not steel ?
Nice Eva. . . Let me know if you need any help, but for the BIOS, I recommend doing your install, then use the Windows flash utility to update the BIOS.
Also, who cares about the plastic lever on the CPU retention. There is no reason to go w/ metal. Is not like a vice. . . . ;)

I used the ASUS AFUDOS.zip utility to update my bios to v1010. Worked fine.

Eva2000,
Congrats! Hopefully you won't have any problems with your new board.
As it is, I'm expecting my P4C800-E this Friday. I'm excited about moving into the 21st Century with my PC.

strange that P4C800-E is overriding my memory timings for ADATA PC4000 while at @200mhz 3-4-4-8 becomes 2.5-3-3-7 in windows ????
