Hello,
I have 4 drives 2 HDD and 2 DVD drives. I just noticed that the slave DVD shows not detected in bios as it did before. All other drives are showing and working properly. All my cables are plugged in properly. When I booted earlier my floppy was giving my problems and I reinspected the cables and then uninstalled the controlers and rebooted and that seemed to do the trick. I am stummped as to why my secondary DVD is not being found. I would appreciate any suggestions with this problem.

running win xp home SP2 :(

Thanks in advance

FD

Had a cable that wasnt completely seated is all, wierd though cus I checked and re checked several times but all is good now. Seems I didnt get a good connection with the new round cables I bought. :)

It's those little things that drive you crazy. Glad it's working.
