Any standard fan works ... the clips go on the bottom of the fan.

How are you doing it ?

Flex make sure you insert the clip ends that connect to the XP 120, not on the top heat pipe hole, but on the second one (lowest).

I use a YS -Tech and no problems, it clips right to the bottom of the ys tech in fact the crooked clip corner falls right into the holes for the screws on the fan.

Rock solid setting.

I had some trouble trying to fit a Vantec stealth fan on the xp120. There is a rib in the way and you need to make some clearance on the fan with a dremel.

Oh the xp120 comes with 2 sets of clips. One set is for a 120mm fan and the other is for a 92mm fan.

Cheers

I DEMAND a refund, mine came only with one set of clip for the 120 fan of course. I want a discount for short changing me of one set of clip that I could have used for ...euhh....for....well...I'll figure out what for later, I DEMAND a refund or credit !

Can't use sandpaper or a dremel on the fan? BTW mine also only had one set of clips. :|

Yeah just use a dremel with a disk to cut enough of the rib out.

I put the fan on the xp120 pulled the clips until they tocuhed and marked where it was interfering.

A small vee shape cut should work fine.

(easier if you have the xp120 out on the bench to test fit the fan and clamps)

Not sure why you didn't get two sets then again who would use a 92mm fan on it

I only got 1 set of clips for the 120mm fan on my XP-120.

My XP-90 came with two sets however ...
