View Full Version : Free divx codec w/out spyware

Can anyone direct me to a link or give me a suggestion about where to get a free divx codec that does not contain spyware. Maybe I got confused at the DIVX website, but it appears that "the playa" and the codec itself contain spyware. :( :confused:

just run adaware and the spyware will go bye bye ~ but so will the "full functionality" of the codec :rolleyes:

dont bother to install the player.

you have to have the spyware in order for the encoding codec to fully function.

Does that include the pro version? I get the DIVX Pro version with ShowShifter Pro.

yep ~ but not the "paid for it" version.
GAIN is the spyware included in DIVX 5xx.
