My Pc for some odd reason will not boot up today. System Stats:
P4C800E deluxe
P4 3.0GHZ with 800FSB
ATI AIW 9800 Pro
4*256MB OCZ Gold RAM

I have been using my system for over two weeks with no problems at all... still at stock speed. Last night was just as normal, i finished playing my game, clicked Start, Shutdown. All went as normal. Today when I got home and pressed power button to turn it on, my monitor recieves no input. The speakers play "System Failure Test CPU." I do not understand what may be the problem. I had not adjusted any of the settings and all the night before was normal. I took the case apart and looked and all was normal. The CPU fan spins as normal as well as all case fans. Also, the light on the motherboard is illuminated green. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very very much.

I just tried that, but it still does not work and continues to play over the speakers system failed cpu test. Thank you for your advice, but unfortunately it did not work :wack:

hmm I do not know. It is just kind of hard for me to believe that even though it could be. Because the night before i was running it just as normal (and stock speed) I have not ever overclocked it). And the night before I shut the system down as normal and all went as usual. Next day when i come home to turn it on..... nothing works :-/ Very strange situation.

Also, which chip or harware would you recommend me testing out first? thank you for your advice.

I notice that you have 4 sticks of RAM on the system-this can provide some leeway for testing. Try removing two of the sticks to see what happens. Also, using 4 sticks (the 3.3v rail, right?)uses up more on the PSU-what's the PSU?

Oh, I see that you have already tried something similar to my recommendation on ABX. It can be useful if you also let us know that you have the same post on ABX-some of us go between the two boards. :)

Here's the link for others to see on ABX: http://www.abxzone.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=524404#post524404

yes, sorry about that. and, also I have a Silent Purepower 430 watt power supply. Any other stats of the system you may want to know that I have accidentally left out and you may want to know, just ask and i will be glad to tell. Thank you very much for all the advice so far though.
