congrats and cool .. i think the highest i've seen for unbuffered is around 4300+ MB/s

Tanghiro using Hynix D43 chips Transcend brand.. same chips i use at http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=774 and same OCZ PC4000 uses only they've laser sanded the chips for better thermal performance and the ICs probably the cream of the crop

Actually, that unbuffered score of Tanghiro's is bugged. I've had 4500 in unbuffered in Integer and 3300 in float before........ it's a bugged score in which he can't reproduce. In fact he is using the same timings I used at 292fsb. At 275fsb 1:1 his float is spot on the same as I get at that speed.

so the guy was running 292 1:1

how many volts was he using???

man... that'd be nice if i could run 292 1:1 on my ic7!!! (go me and my vdimm mod!!!)

Mine are also at 2.85V, max speed of DDR550 and ROCK SOLID. . .

i just got beta bios 17 so i'll give it a try on saturday!

hopefully these things will run at least 285 (crosses fingers) @ 1:1

if it does... then man! that'd be nice but still will be 100 mhz slower in terms of raw cpu speed....

maybe it's time to get a 2.6C ...

anyone wanna trade? :)

I have 2 x 512 sticks of the OCZ4000Gold parked in the blue slots of my P4C800E Deluxe. Recently I picked up a 2.4C on spec. because I was suspicious that my 2.6C was not overclocking well and was holding back the ram. The 2.4C was capable of 290fsb at 5:4 so I embarked on my own testing. I dialled the bios in to 400mhz or 1:1 and just started cranking up the fsb. When I got to 260fsb 1:1 @ default vcore and the 4000Gold at 2.75vdimm and still at the 250mhz spec of 2.5,4,4,7 I knew there was a lot of headroom left.

After reading Prometheus's review #2 of the 4000 ram over at Anandtech I needed to beat the OCZ4000Copper. I DID.

I hit 280fsb 1:1 at 2.85vdim 3,4,4,8 that's Standard and PAM enabled. That's 560DDR and 1120fsb. INCREDIBLE!!!!

My best results were at 278FSB where I was able to leave Turbo enabled. I will post both the Sandra Max Buffered results first. Can't attach the Jpegs but the results are:
Buffered - 6377/6419
Unbuffered - 3408/3470

Now that's what I call Memory Bandwidth.

290fsb at 5:4. Yup!. Been there, done that!

I have to say that OCZ's service is outstanding and so is their product. And that is from a die-hard skeptic. Thanks OCZ
