Laser sight on memory chips ?

Non-contact thermal infrared thermometer with laser sighting.. would the laser used to point at of memory chips damage the memory chips in anyway ? Just wondering ? :D

Nah, it won't hurt the memory, just make sure you hold it at least 3inches away.
