Can anyone tell me why I get such low HDD scores in PCmark with my 73gig U160 10K scsi? I don't think it's a problem with my system, it scores about where it should for my drive setup. I just don't understand why the scsi drives are so low. I can get better scores with a 7200rpm IDE drive and I'm pretty sure my scsi out performs one of those. Is this just a PCmark thing?
CPU 8299
Memory 10384
HDD 896

PCMark is not a very good HD benchmark.
if you have more then 1 HD on your system it may be testing the wrong one
either way ~ just ignore it and use a different HD benchmark.

Thanks for the reply Thugs, I'm just running the 1 scsi drive. It allways seemed fast to me, I just couldn't figure out why it scored so low in PCmark. I'll run some different benches to get a better idea of how it performs.

The Atto bench seems to be what alot of people use.
