FRAPS,how to work with this video?

I have some video footage and it appears that the program FRAPS saves it in some sort of RAW .avi format-I need something that will convert it to some better form of .avi?

My other program that can save it into just about any still format wont work with it now as it is:bang:I really need it to-thx

ok.i think ive figured it now.thx.since im in here tho,is there any program thats free that will convert to mpeg?thx:)TMPEG not free anymore.things have changed-:(

Fraps is great.... Nice to show your buds about the kick ass action in your games... It doesn't compress the movies so just use virtualdub, ivideomax or any reencoder to encode/compress your movies into mpeg2/divx or whatever... (like PR said) ...

You can use FRAPS to record video calls too through MSN messanger. You just need to full screen and then hit the hot key and you can record your conversations, fps included. :p
