Hey there,

I am really sorry for posting on this so much but I just have to be sure about what I am reading and understanding. In a previous post about several water cooling units I had stated that i was going to use a Aquarius III external cooling unit. Well I have had second thoughts.

I followed harleyBro's link on DangerDen and kept going back to it a the equipment looks solid and of high end quality. I still have alot of questions about certain equipment. I went to thier site and picked out some stuff i would like to list here and see if i have made some good choices and if the pros can tell me if what I have chosen will do the job for my CPU and chipset

My CPU , ATHLON 64 4000+
MOBO, ASUS A8V VIA K8T800PRO
VGA, RADEON 9200 :( might not even be worth cooling

Here is what I chose at DangerDen and I hope before I make a purchase I can get some insight as to if I made the right choices as far as my gear.

TDX clear water block
Maze 4 Chip set block
Black Ice Extreme Radiator (Chrome)
Evercool 120 MM fan (Chrome)
Ehiem 1250 Pump 1/2 adaptors
Duel Bay 5 1/4 Resevoir
12oz Zerex Super Coolant
Standard Stainless Steel holddown
12 Hose Clamps both Y & T.. They were a great rock band :)!!!
Grand total comes to 319.86

Hope this is all what I need

And one last question does this set up with danger den use the rear fan exhaust port to mount? If so will that hinder heat removal from the case?

Thanks,

I think it all sounds nice. You probably could get away with the single res. I agree with you about OCing the vid card. If you have an aftermarket cooler already that should work fine. With the H2) I get about 100mhz. more then stock. Didn't see your mobo before but I have heard the via chips aren't as good as nvidia for ocing. Maybe someone else can give input on that. If the back fan port on your case has 120mm mount it should be cool if not you can always make it 120. :thumb: If not you can mount it anywhere you can fit a 120mm hole. I mounted ine on top so it helps to act as a blowhole and get extra heat out of the case.
