Alright I have a problem it seems here. On a sinxp1394 I got here I cant get video, none. And I know the video card is good, as I tested it in another system. Also, I dont think its the AGP slot, as the PCI video cards i tried do the same thing. Its a 2.4B and 1 stick of corsair PC2700 512MB. I think it MIGHT be the PSU, I cant tell for sure. Its some cheap 400. If the little 12v plug didnt work could that do it? Im all out of ideas here, any help is welcome.

step 1) remove/unplug everything and reseat/plug everything back in. (including the cpu)
step 2) check all molex plugs for damage.
step 3) clear cmos while unplugged and w/o a battery.
HTH :)

Still no good.. Im starting to think the processor or mobo is dead. Ill try the 2.4 in my IC7 in a bit and then ill just have to go with it being the mobo. Anyone have some odd problem that might be the cause here? Dont really wanna set up an RMA.

I had this happen on an ASuS P4PE. My 2.53 P4 overheated (was not oc'ing either). I tested the proc in another P4 board I had and that is what confirmed that the proc was overheating. However, the overheating killed the motherboard.
I also have experienced this recently.
1 time it was a sinple pinched wire to one of my case fans that caused a short.....Unpinched it and all was good.
2nd time was when I didn't look when I plugged in the Keyboard & Mouse and had the KB plugged into the mouse port & the mouse in the KB port. (DOH) That one will drive you insane. When I found it and swapped them....Video was back! :)
