Yes, I also like the Blue! But alas mine went back. Gonna hold out for a quad set of pc3700 that will do Cas 2 and not 2.5. But I really liked them. They just didnt perform as well as my pc3700 on my system. Would have kept them if i was using a 2.4 or a 2.6c

Eva, so you think extra cooling on the Nb will help the overclock?
Dr. 2k, shouldn't this memory be able to run at cas 2? most of the users at ddr 500 with 3700 golds are able to..

cooling may provide more stability at the highest oc. not necessarily a higher oc - if you know what i mean

Yes it does Cas 2 with 2x256, but not with 4x256. However, i didnt buy these 4 modules in a quade set, so that could be why. Also, i cannot run DDR500 with my cpu. Best is DDR480 with 4x256 pc3700, but at Cas 2.5 with the set i have now. I am waiting for a replacement tested quade set pc3700 that will run Cas 2 at 4x256.

Edit: LOL eva i see ur prowling the forums :p  But yes eva i surely cannot do Cas2 at 250Mhz/DDR500 at Cas2, let alone boot, lol ;) :D , But i am able to do 2.5,3,3,6 with 2.9v at 240Mhz/DDR480 with these 4 sticks. But again, i want to be able to do Cas2 at this speed.

Hopefully mines can hit ddr 500+ with ease... my corsair 3200 c2's couldn't even hang at 240fsb and that's without pat enabled at a 5:4 ratio.

Hi guys, need some help here, finally got the modules and its crapping out at the recommended settings with prime 95 and the p4c800-e. vdimm is up to 2.85 and timings are at 2.5-4-4-7-8. The memory modules are in the blue slots and the cpu is a 2.6c from costa rica. usb legacy is disabled.. what next? I am about to try memtest, should I even bother testing one stick at a time?

rules i live by
1. always test each stick individually
2. always turn off all bios memory performance/turbo etc settings when testing first
3. always memtest86 even before you boot windows
4. always I memtest86 following this guide http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=442

Thanks Eva, you are really much help!
1. I haven't tested the sticks individually, but I figured since I'm running dual channel, that probably won't be necessary until I have errors with dual channel. Having said that, I need to run these tests individually. :(
2. All special settings that enhance the speed is turned off already in my case.
3. Just ran memtest86, the first time I ran it with 1.525, I get errors in every test. I raised it up to 1.5625, it cleared up errors only at test 1 and 2, maybe 4, I do not recall. Test 3 had too many errors. In this case what should I do? I thought the 2.6c should be able to handle 250fsb at a default vcore?
4. Really glad I came across your guide, it did explain some more stuff to me...

Update:
1. Used the old corsair 3200c and used the 2:3 divider. cannot get fsb at 250. Its good at 240 overnight, but not 245 and this is at 1.575 voltage. My question is should I get a new 2.6? If so, which make and where should I buy it from?
