the problem is finding a vendor that sells them
these chips could be very limited and only sold in OZ, or something like that.

I am still here... just had a very busy couple weeks, and my father-in-law had cancer surgery this week, so no time for much. I am happy with my 2.4c from outpost ATM.
But that only lasts for so long...heheheh

The issue is the 2.4c chip IMO don't seem t oc much better then a lot of our 2.4b c1 stepping chips. YOu think the d1 stepping chips are going to yield 200fsb and 3.6ghz??? I don't think they will and not with any regularity...

Why is that??? Are the mobiles defaulting to some lower multiplier again??? A 300fsb would be 3.9ghz....

wait 300x12 is 3.6ghz!!! Do you just mean it will defualt the multiplier to 12x so therefore the 2.6c mobile will look like a 2.4c, right??? Do the mobile chip have lower vcore or rumored better ocing level???

I never heard that the higher ghz mobile P4's are not defaulting to 12x multi in a desktop board...so i assume they still are defaulting to a 12x multi like the 1.7m and 1.6m chips did a while back when everyone was running them at 200fsb.
If they default to a different multi, that'd be great.
I would think the vcore would be the same as the other mobile chips...1.3v or was it 1.4v
I could be wrong, but I havent heard/read anythng different...
