I just got a new retail 2.6c from Newegg last week. I haven't played around with it yet because I'm waiting on my video card to arrive (maybe today). But this cpu will run in windows all day at 260fsb and has no problem booting to windows at 270fsb w/default voltage. This is all I've done so far, I just left everything default or spd and raised the fsb to get an idea of what kind of chip I had. So far it looks great, I noticed a couple of threads on Anandtech about 2.6c's from Newegg getting great oc's. (and you don't have to straighten pins;) ). I'll wait to get the video card and then see exactly what I have. I'm sure I'll be asking for help with with this, so stay tuned:D

Sounds like you got a nice chip.
Wishing you great success with your new rig.

boshuter what are the final results??? I am looking at the 2.6c and I would like some of your batch codes on the cpu....
270 at default still booting but stable??? That would be 3.5ghz and is what I am shooting for....

Duvie........
I ended up at (3.41) 262fsb @1.6v stable, this is on a P4P800 deluxe with 2X512mb Corsair XMS PC3500 5:4 2-2-2-5.
Technonut on Anandtech has the exact same cpu, same FPO/Batch # and same pack date and he is running 3.5 stable on an IC7. I was hoping for 3.5, but just don't think I'm going to make it, but I'm still happy with the cpu;)
FPO/Batch# 7321A412
Pack Date- 06/24/2003

Thanks for the update....I really need to see more 3.5ghz consistently before I jump on a new p4c chip...they are not imprssing me right now. Hell many guys I knew had p4b chips doing 3.3-3.4ghz....NOt much better IMO....
