Wow so i must really be blind or missing something because I'm looking for the option that allows me to set my ram at DDR 500 in the Asus bios and i can't find the damn option.

I have an ASUS P4P800 Deluxe and my board is running at a FSB of 250mhz. So i want to set my memory at a 1:1 ratio but the only thing i found was a stupid menu which allowed me to set it at: auto, 266, 333 or 400. I also saw a place where i could change latency.. but no memory ratio!

I must be blind!

Can someone point out which menu it's in, and where in the bios this option is ?

Or maybe it's because I'm using the default bios, but I checked the info on what the newer bios changed, and there was no mention of any ram so i didn't install it.

Thx!
Btw, for those who are curious, it's a
p4 2.4c @ 3.01 gig
Asus p4p800 deluxe
Kingston Dual Channel 2x256 megs DDR 500mhz (pc 4000)

Thanks for the prompt response, that's what i was thinking before ... that putting it to DDR 400 would do a 1:1 ratio, thus if i overclocked the FSB to 250mhz it would automatically overclock the ram too.

I only wish there was a way to VERIFY that i was really running at 500mhz. I always feel the need to 'see' it say 500mhz, it doesn't even show up in the post screen.

But thanks for the quick response & if someone else tell me how i could check to see if it's really running at 500mhz i would be very grateful.

Thx guys, and i'll be posting more here!
