Lately programs have been shutting down randomly and very often..for example i will be surfing the web with either firefox or internet explorer (tried both) and they will crash mid work...

also other programs have crashed randomly while working...

also games have been screwing up lately...i thot it was my graphics card...i dont think so but could still be an option...when i play ANY i mean ANY game it freezes up after anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes of game play...and it makes the windows error sound "dun"...then im forced to restart....

ne1 have ne ideas on what steps i should take?

Thanks

Need some details about your hardware, overclock and any temps you can see when this happens. BTW have you looked for a log file to see what it might say? Look in your task manager and see if there is any program that has not shut down properly.

I have this happen to me but only after IE has been run for a while with many windows - it's a pig on memory that does not clear when it shuts down and needs a reboot. How long between reboots does this happen?
