Are you running in Raid0 like your Sig says?
UDMA doesn't apply to SATA raid

Ok, then you might be right....SATA150 is referred to as UDMA 6....I have had something like this happen b4 when not configuring raid....its in the bios...I can't think where right now but it has to do with how your are configuring the "enhanced" mode I think. Although fooling around with it now might make windows not boot....hmmmm

i just started rebuilding this pc . thats what i get for relying on a auto seting .
I just as well do it now . if i gotta do a fresh install then i gotta :bonk:
at least i havent installed all my apps yet
I got to say the preformace seems ok though but ill try it anyways
I just tryed doing a file system bench in sisoft sandra and it telling me drive is to fragmented but i just did a defrag ???
rebooted and tryed again an it gave me a dive index of 53 mb/s
dose this sound about right ? seems a little low ? Is there a better bench to use for HD/file system ?

53mb/s is about right, my raid0 shows 71mb/s

ya i just checked on this pc it shows 73 mb/s so 53mb/s aint bad for non raid
