i just wanted to add:
the same can also be done for 3-4pin fan convertors.

you would additionally have the option of making the "4 pin pass thru" 7v for more fans, or swap 2 wires on the opposite end for a standard 12v pass thru.

(you only really need to make one "7v convertor" and then you can just add fans to it w/o modding their molexes)

do not hook up 7v to a hard drive, cdrom, or vid card!

Good point, looks like I'll need to update that one....hehe It will give something to do next weekend.

I kind of got a whole series in mind, mostly case mod stuff like LEDs, Bay Buses...etc

Just want to say if you have a really loud NEW case...you can also have the option to buy a HEADPHONE. hee hee :D
