That is the question!
Hi All,
I'm new to OC'ing and to forums so forgive me if I mess up some...but I'm not a complete dullard (my wife would argue that).
Reading all I can about tweaking, bios setting etc etc and seeing results where this bench gives '335' points or what ever higher results etc. I agree, it's fun to sqeeze out the best that you can from a mobo / chip combo but in real world use (running standard Windows apps, playing Links 2003, fixing up Grandma's picture in Photoshop), are you better off sticking with 200 fsb and running 1:1 MAM enabled) or will you notice better performance increasing the fsb resulting in 5:4, no MAM? I'm assuming here that on a P4P800 you can only get 1:1 at 200fsb.
thanks!
