Guys,

A quick question, where is the mobo temp sensor located, anyone know? Is it close to the nothbridge ?

How high are P IV 2.8C allowed to run and how high for the mobo temp ?

Thanks,

erick

thugs, cool (mhhmm or not to cool :-) )

What about the mobo max temp adn cpu max temp.

I am getting my twinmos pc3700 -43B 2*512M memory tomorrow and wanna see how far I can overclock my 2.8C cpu. but I also wanna keep an eye on the mobo and cpu temps.

PS I have an elan vital A10 casing which has a fan with a plastic duct helping to cool the cpu and northbridge.

Now running at 3150M cpu and memory FSB 225 at 2.5-3-3-7 (1:1)

cheers,

erick

honestly?

dont even pay attention to NB or board temps.
if its stable its stable, if its not its not.

of course just like a car engine, you want to run as low as you can get it. you should take steps to keep things cool ~ but dont take too much stock in the temp numbers.

HTH :-)
