well 4PCA3+ like other boards seems to have it's flaws and good points

BAD:
- Doesn't handle 4x 256MB ADATA PC4000 as well as PX865PE PRO2 and IC7 regardless of vdimm voltage. This could be either due to the board/bios or the actual combination of 4 unmatched sticks of memory or both.
----
Max 4x 256MB ADATA PC4000 memtest error free:

PX865PE PRO2 = 260-270mhz 3-4-4-8 at 2.85v
IC7 = 250-265 3-4-4-8 at 2.8v
4PCA3+ = 233-238 3-4-4-8 at 3.0v anything under or over 3.0v vdimm freezes memtest at test #5
----

GOOD:
- managed to get into windows for some benchies with 1x 256MB ADATA PC4000 and 2x 256MB ADATA PC4000 at the highest FSB i've ever had so far for my cpus and boards (semi stable).

1x 256MB ADATA PC4000 @ 282mhz 3-4-4-8 at 1:1 at 3.2v

(strange clevor with ADATA PC4000 and 4PCA3+ got much higher unbuffered bandwidth 300-700MB+ more)

hmm regarding 4 sticks on 4PCA3+ i have the PCI/DMM CLK detect enabled, would that lower my 4 stick headroom as well ?

from lostcircuits.com

"The main advantage of using a single DIMM as opposed to two DIMMs is that the clock signal to unused DIMM slots can be shut down in the BIOS by enabling PCI/DIMM CLK auto detect. Therefore, the clock signal does not need to be diluted to the individual DIMM slots. In case several DIMMs are being used, this advantage is partially lost, depending on the number of DIMMs and slots available. Nonetheless, adding twice the amount of load in form of capacitors that make up the memory cells will cause a hit with regard to the highest frequency possible which is why, in general, 256 MB DIMMs are slower than 128 MB DIMMs."

Nice Eva2000. . . . . If my board could only do 3.2V on the memory w/o the mod. . . . . :D
