Just thought I'd share my findings with this board...
A family member keeps unintentionally installing Gator and Precision Time and all those other crappy GAIN applications... he claims they install themselves.
I found a solution, but unfortunately it won't work unless you're using NTFS and can set permissions for individual folders.
There is a file when you install a GAIN application called trickler_bic_gatorpt_4010.exe located in C:\Program Files\WebPT
I deleted the file in that foler, and I denied write permission on that folder, and attempting to install any GAIN software, Precision Time, Date Manager, and Gator all fail.
