Hi all,
I just purchased Partition Magic 8 and cannot get it to partition my hard drive. I have a Maxtor 160 gig; Win XP home SP2; AMD 64 3000+; MSI K8N NEO Patinum MB; 512MB DDR RAM.
After shutting off my virus protection and Diskeeper engine I open Partion Magic, go through all the prompts and set my partiton size etc, it asks for reboot, on reboot it says that partiton is complete, windows starts, but the hard drive still reads 160gig, no partitons, no new drive letter etc.
FYI - It did sucessfully make a Linux partition on this hard drive - 25 gig, no problem. :look:
I have tried every available option in the program - i.e. create new partition, re-size partition etc....all with same results. Symantec's support was no help...their free support that is :mischeif:
Any sugestions?
