Planning on Oc'ing my 3200+ 90nm soon and was wondering what are good idle and load temps ? What are dangerous temps ? Thanks ! :coocoo:

I have crawled many forums looking for this answer and to tell you the truth, its a matter of personal preference. On the other hand I have read that running a CPU at 60 celcius 24/7 will ultimately reduce the life of the CPU by half. I am very particular when it comes to hetat and temps. I do not like to OC and run a CPU under load that will go above 45 celcius. I have seen many that run high 40's and low 50's under load, to them this is acceptable. And for most people these temps are as well, just not for me.

50-55c is a common load temp on A64s with the stock AMD cooler on them. So if you have better cooling, overclocking to where those temps are your load once again is a safe way of doing it.
