PF, very nice. . . I like the Aluminum cases. . . The only thing missing from that setup is a nice Prommie under it. . ;)

interesting temp benchmarks.. i knew blow hole was good but didn't know that good! When i set up my PC60USB case, I swapped out my top blow ADDA fan and put in a 80mm sunon 50cfm fan :D

the 2 PC60USB cases 2nd hand were less than 2/3 of the original retail price at that time so i saved a bundle! :D
80GB WD 800JB i bought 4 of them 2nd hand too at 65-70% of retail price too :)
did i mention my first 2.4C + 2.8C were purchased 2nd hand too at 75% and 80% of original retail price as well :D

It is worth noting that if you order this case on line be careful. The original PC65 -usb does not have a blow hole on the top. I know. I have the case. Lian-Li did not change the part number when they added the extra fan.

Very cool:cool:job PF:-)
I have a Lian Li PC 76 and it's the best case I've ever owned, I am going to replace my Adda fans eventually like you did with either Panaflo or Pabst, I'm using a rheobus until then. The Adda fans seem to resonate more than any other fan I've ever heard.

I purchased the case 2 years ago just after it came out. PC 65B-usb. Lian -Li made a couple of changes to the case in very short time. The first change was the power/ reset buttons which were identical to the PC68. They removed the button plate to give a smoother look and changed to match the case colour . Then they put in the top blowhole about 2 months latter. One of my Adda fans bearings is failing so I purchased Vantec Stealth fans for the entire case. I purchase an hole saw to put in my own blow hole in the top and am still thinking about adding another back exhaust fan under the existing one and a supply on the side. I am still waiting for the IC7 Max3 to come out before I start ripping it apart.

Sorry if this is off topic...but how is the Kingwin kt-424 compared to this case?? I heard it was comparable to the pc-65...or maybe it was the pc-60 i dont remember...but its only 95$.
I have the Lian-li PC60U.
I modded it by using my hole saw to put an extra 80MM in the back. Fits perfectly. I am running 4 x Unincom 4led fans. I found they are actually quieter and put out more than the Adda's.
I am also using a Vantec Rheobus to adjust down on the case fans and the Blue Orb fan I attached to the NorthBridge on my P4P800. That's actually much noisier than the Zalman ALCU.
I could try an 80mm blowhole.
I also added dual castor wheels and some DYI aluminum faceplates. I would like to know what spray paint you used on the CDRom, etc., though.
I love this case. Best I ever had.

I have one of the 65's before they put in the blow hole. You didn't say what PSU you installed, the first one I had was an enermax 431. I then switched to an Antec "True"480, and now I'm using an Antec "True" 550. With both the Antec's I had to remove the lower fan guard on the PSU to get it in the case. The fan guard on the Enermax was more flush to the PSU case and slid in easily. Not a big problem, because it's not something you have to do often. I love the case and don't see giving it up anytime soon. May have to put a blow hole in it though...:)
A blowhole above the memory area might help. The OCZ3700Gold in the box runs HOT. Compared to the NorthBridge and the memory on the ATI9800Pro, it's much hotter to the touch.

I have the PC-61, which is similar except no window, black rather than silver and only 2 front USB ports. (Okay... maybe not THAT similar, but still a LL.)
Case is great, except that I feel a bit gypped: Specs call for ball-bearing fans, but mine has the Adda sleeve-bearing 80s. I tried to contact LL about the discrepancy but can't get a response. They're not too loud yet, but I've never met a sleeve-bearing fan that didn't get louder as it aged. Hope I don't have to replace them too soon.
Do you guys have ball or sleeve?

Mine came with Panaflo's.. I think they were L1A's, can't remember for sure, I swapped them out within a week anyway..:-)
Mine came with the ADDA sleeve bearing fans too. They worked fine but I replaced them with Unincom clear fans with 4 blue led's.
I have 2 in the front and 2 in the back and they match the blue power lead and the blue led's on the Vantec fan controller.

Well, I destroyed the front of my chassis by carving out the whole fan area with a dremel and replacing the 2 Adda 80s with a couple Stealth 92s. Cool great but look like crap. Good thing it's all covered by the fan filter guard, which I now attach with duct tape because I cut out the screw holes.
Next time I have the whole thing apart I will try to clean up those holes. Or, I will get another for Christmas and give this one to my kids...
