I have now encountered a problem with my OC capabilities due to not enough cooling for my proc!
I have a 3200 S939 on a GA-K8NSNXP mobo with max Volts(cpu Vcore 1.7 bios) and my temps are currently around 48-50c!!! I use a Zalman CNPS700Cu HSF but realise to get over 2.7GHz I need to increase my cooling and need to try something a littlee better!
I aint used TEC, Peltier, Water or Liq Ref so need some HELP real quick!!!

I have a ThermalTake Tsunami Dream Case with 2 x 120mm intake and exhaust fans and 1 x 92mm window fan so I need something that will fit, look good but most of all WORK!!!!!!!!!

Someone should give me some pointers from experience or knoledge so PLEASE help before my cpu turns into a burnt crispy chip!

Cheers

is that 48-50c your load temps? cause those aren't bad load temps for an OCed s939

well maybe it is load but not as in Prime95 for days!
System is networked and connected to net and prime95 torture for 1 hr or so then temp mesured from bios.
System is running and has been withouta crash for 3 days now!

I have checked cpu-z scores from various forums and see that anything above 2.65G are cooled with water, air or liquid ref and also mobo that have V mods or more than 1.7Vcore and 2.8Vdimm.

I def need some better cooling to hit 3G+

Ideas??????

IMHO I would look into phase change cooling there are some good how to's on building your own pase change unit on the internet or you could get one from asetek or the next choice would be water cooling (purchase all components separately or buy a ready to install kit set). not many use TEC's (peltiers) much these days due to the fact of having to run separate power supplies and also there is the issue of cooling the TEC's sufficiently as you will need a TEC that does 110watts and higher
