System Description

The "General Tab" of "System Properties", lists descriptions of the computer. (This information also shows up in various utilities)

Since I built this thing, the descriptions for "System Manufacturer" and "System Model" are missing. Seems to me, I saw a post somewhere sometime describing how this description could be modified, recall that it was fairly easy, but can't remember it.

Can anyone tell me where and how to fill in these information fields ?

In NT4, 2000 and XP, its filled in by a file called oeminfo.ini, located in the C:\Windows (xp) or C:\Winnt (NT/2000) folder.
The related file, oemlogo.bmp, it the picture that goes in the little box next to all the text info.
Id post a screenie of my setup, but I lost 80gigs of files...and dont have any more.
thats on my list of 'recover from PC at work" to do today...but Im sure a google search for oeminfo.ini would give you tons of hits...
