An OT forum is a must-have. Sometimes we want to post interesting non-computer related info or just hang out and yap about stuff. Discussions can and do get out of hand, everyone knows that, and we accept it. We all argue, no matter how well we respect each other (ask my wife about that). We are simply asking for everyone's cooperation in keeping this forum as fun and as lite as possible.
Thanks for your help! :D

Bumping this thread just as a reminder about what the Open Topic forums is all about. Take a read at the first post in this thread. Most notably the following line...
We are simply asking for everyone's cooperation in keeping this forum as fun and as lite as possible.

Despite everyone's best intentions to keep this forum as fun and as lite as possible we are now faced with adding this to the list.
Although this is an OT forum where you can post information and discuss topics other than computer related item, we here at The BleedinEdge will not allow any post or discussion that criticises another's belief whether it be political, religious, race or whatever we judge as being inflammatory to our members.
If you find a thread that attack's another's belief we would appreciate it if you would report it to us. Please do not offer a rebuttal or post an equally inflammatory remark or you could face similar consequence. We will address the thread as quickly as possible. Also, if a Moderator posts a "Cease and Desist" then please adhere to this request or face a similar fate.
This is a community of hardcore computing and by community we mean we are to show respect not only for this site but also for our fellow members.
Any dissenters posting such inflammatory topics or not heading posted "cease and desist" advice will have thier thread moved for discussion. After this discussion they may find themselves suspended for a cooling off period. After this time they are free to return and join in our fun community again in a more respectful manner.
We hate to sound this harsh and have never had to do so in the past but we need to take such actions to ensure that we uphold our respect for our fellow members in our community.
If you disagree with our position on removing the thread please send anyone on The Crew a PM and we will discuss it with you in private before taking any immediate action.

Just to add to my earlier post...
...keeping this forum as fun and as lite as possible
Anything construed as not meeting this criteria may be removed from the OT forum.
Appreciate any help keeping this forum on the fun side of life :thumb:
